What are You especially good at?

What might people be surprised to learn about You?
As a Domme, I naturally access My dark side. To go deep, you have to be intense and sometimes during power exchange play, one can be on the cusp of what I call a “controlled craziness”. That being said, I think people find Me unexpectedly gregarious, sociable and charming. I have many different facets and what I bring to the table depends on how our interests meld. How are you coping with not playing during this time of Covid?
Oh but I have been playing! I’ve been enjoying meeting people from near and far and doing scenes via Skype, phone and custom video requests. Technology is a great way to connect. Regarding in-person dates, I haven’t been in the dungeon or on the mats since mid-March. I’ve been quarantined in either Los Angeles or San Diego and, sadly, will be for the foreseeable future. I’ll keep My site updated and will let people know when things change.
What is your athletic background?
My first love was horses. I grew up an equestrian and dressage competitor. I will always be in love with horses and still miss Mine. I played basketball for high school, college and National Teams. Following graduation, I played professional basketball abroad for several years and when I retired, took a breather from sports altogether. When I moved to New York City, I cut My teeth in the “shark tank” of a renowned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu dojo where I was one of few women. I rose to purple belt in NYC and then received My brown and black belts in California. I took part in competitions. However, I retired from the sport after the injuries started piling up and My body was getting too thrashed.
I started really missing it and took up Krav Maga, which is similar to BJJ, and also joined an MMA/wrestling gym. I was very enthused about learning traditional wrestling and loved My new team- and then the Corona virus hit. It’s unclear when we’ll train again as the gyms have been closed.
With gyms being shuttered, are you still working out?
Absolutely. I try to do eight different exercises a day – either with weights or body weight, Stairmaster or hiking and bang it out in about an hour. I’ve been posting My #covidchallenge workouts on Twitter (My handle is @GoddessSevera). I’ve found the feedback from fans motivating so please chime in.

What is it like being unusually tall?
I love it! I’ve been fortunate in that My body is an ally in life that has afforded Me many opportunities that the lesser in stature don’t receive. Because of My height, (plus My athleticism and work ethic), I received a free education and traveled the world. Obviously, it also has been a useful attribute that also sets Me apart from others as a Domme and wrestler. My mind and personality are who I am- but My well-proportioned physique and lean, muscular frame are definitely assets that contribute to My lifestyle.
Do you ever get tired of people staring at you?
I receive a lot of attention, (wanted and unwanted), just going about My everyday business in the world. However, instead of being annoyed, I try to be an ambassador of good will and satiate the curious. I often take pictures with people I meet and post height comparison images on Twitter.
Plus- I really love looming large over people- men in particular. To be this big, you have to walk like a “boss” and own it. My confidence is attractive and men sometimes get really flustered/emasculated/silly- you name it. It’s fun to watch their reactions.
What was the most memorable compliment you ever received?
I was in a hotel lobby in NYC and this awe-struck man came up to Me and said, “I have two words for you… Wow”!
What is your most distinguishing feature?
Aside from my height, My feet are quite unusual. My arches are so high they don’t touch the ground. I describe them as sculptural art works. They’re pornographically curvy with curly toes -very recognizably Mine.
Please tell us a little about your interest in the kink/wrestling/domination scene.
I’ve been hard-wired for this as long as I can remember. Two books were influential on Me when I was very young: “Charlie is My Darling” and a classic, twisted Mother Goose poem called "The Old Woman Who lived in a Shoe". I’ve since understood Myself to be a pygophile (A person with an intense aesthetic and/or sexual preference for the human buttocks.) I don’t know where it comes from but I’ve always had a vivid imagination, a curious interest in spanking and an affinity for power dynamics. I had BDSM fantasies early on that featured characters defined by those who had power and those who did not. Before I even knew about dungeons, I dreamt about houses with secret rooms of punishment, spanking benches and some sort of violent drama. (That’s why I sometimes refer to Myself as a sexual gangster and dangerous woman).
When did you actually start playing?
I use the term “playing” pretty loosely to describe My early experiences. When you’re wired this way it’s natural to find other people who lean towards being dominant or submissive. As a kid, classrooms and school grounds were ripe with potential subs. My most formative relationship was with a bully classmate named Charlie. I stopped him from pounding on some defenseless runt one day and in response, he spat in My direction and dared Me to cross a line. I immediately stepped over and we started brawling. (At thirteen, I was six feet tall and strong). While we were scrapping, I mounted him and My elbow clocked him in the nose.
When he saw blood, he couldn’t believe it. His demeanor completely changed- he started blubbering and ran home. From that day on, it was game on: I was drunk with desire to dominate him and always was thinking of ways to get him. We became obsessed with each other in a very symbiotic way. I’d set “Charlie traps”, where I’d ambush him and torment him by doing things like sucking spit in and out of My mouth over his face. One time I tied him to a tree and caned him with twigs and tree branches while a gang of My girlfriends laughed. I didn’t really understand My behavior other than knowing I had a primal desire to own him somehow and get in his head. As you may have suspected, he was seduced by the attention and began to be easier and easier to catch -always seemed to be walking home from school very slowly...
Whatever happened to Charlie?
He recently tracked Me down and told Me about how much those early experiences had influenced his life. Despite not seeing each other for thirty years, we’ve picked up where we left off in grade school.
Do You often have real-time relationships with people You dominate?
Rarely. My dance card is full and very few subs meet My expectations. My playmates should regard Me as they would a therapist- albeit a very twisted, but helpful, one. That being said, I do become close with people I’ve known for a long time and sometimes develop lengthy relationships (with reasonable boundaries), with people that I consider special and important.
Are You currently in a relationship?
I don’t answer questions which invade My privacy and are not relevant to My time in the dungeon.
Understood. Did You receive training to become a Domina? How did you become Goddess Severa?
I did. I trained with the legendary Ava Taurel at the Taurel Institute in New York City after ending My professional basketball career abroad (a whole other part of My identity for years). I moved to NYC to put My athletic life behind Me and have new adventures. I modeled, went back to school and finally explored My deep seated interest in kink. In New York City, anything is possible. No one is a misfit because you can find your tribe of like-minded kin.
Ava initially took Me under Her wing because She was impressed with My height and as time went on, we became good friends. She mentored Me and was a very influential person in My life. She has since tragically passed away but the lessons She taught Me formed the basis for how I view My playmates. Ava was serious about using the dynamics of power exchange to create a transformative experience that is not simply recreational, but above all, therapeutic and uplifting. I’m not a robot mindlessly programmed to fulfill someone else’s fantasy. My subs must have something to offer that will make My own experience enjoyable. Moreover, just as the sub has boundaries, I have My own and expect them to be honored.
I trained under Ava for My first few years and then branched out to the Den of Iniquity, under Tara Indiana, before becoming independent. My time at those spaces was filled with growth, learning and a whole lot of crazy, memorable kink. I was fortunate to meet many wonderful Dommes and subs there. It is not an understatement to say that My time in New York changed the direction of My life.
How would You describe Your Domming style?
I would describe Myself as a caring Domme who can dispense both tough love and kindness. The push/pull of hard and soft- a stinging slap followed by a caress is seductive. Ultimately, I help My playmates fulfill needs that traditional relationships make difficult to express. It is gratifying when someone can achieve harmony between their fantasies and every-day life. Playing this way is healing and empowering. It's My personal and unique contribution to making the world a better place. Just as My subs empower Me, I seek to be someone worthy of their crawling.
Speaking of crawling, do your subjects have to be submissives? What if they're normal guys who aren't into whips and chains and simply like tall, strong women?
Not a problem. I can be “normal” too! No drama necessary. Some masochists aren’t submissive. Many people aren’t into feet… As I’ve said before, I’m excellent at adapting to different people and making them feel comfortable.
You seem really nice. Why would you want to hurt people?
My training under Ava Taurel reinforced My own view that play must be based on mutual respect, be pleasurable and growth oriented for both parties. Without trust there is nothing. No one who has been in this industry for an extended period of time can maintain relationships or establish trust if they treat their playmates poorly or are abusive. There is a time and a place for everything. I can throw down with the best of them. However, there is a big difference, for instance, between pain that is sensual and pain that is hurtful. Context is everything. In the context of consensual adults engaged in BDSM, pain obviously has its place- it’s corrective, healing, freeing and fun. Dispensing pain is not about a hatred of men. To be in this niche field in the world, you have to care about and like men- at least I do. Men have been the source of much adventure in My life. I appreciate them.
What is your favorite kind of scene?
That’s a tough one. There are so many ways I love to play. I can tell you that I excel at anything having to do with hands-on treatment- like beat downs, scissors, choking, trampling or wrestling in general. But I’m a Dominatrix first, so I’m drawn to domestic spanking scenes and more traditional dungeon-type corporal punishment- like flogging, nipple torture, and electricity. I love love love role play and taboo violation. And costumes! I love playing with fetishists who worship leather, shiny things and shoes! But I also wish I had more playmates who were into foot, body worship and massage. Basically, I love being appreciated and adored. I love talking to people. I love My height comparison fans. I love trampling. I love cross-dressing… Really, I can’t narrow this question down to one answer. My number one priority is to be with someone who is pleasant, agreeable and upbeat. The energy of a scene is contingent on both people having fun. It’s a two-way connection and My favorite thing is to find a playmate who is as enthusiastic as I am and who can abandon the shackles of society to get into shackles with Me.
How have your scene interests changed during Covid?
I’ve adapted to not being able to meet in person. I still wear My costumes, demonstrate My strength and give orders. I instruct some to self-flagellate. Some are denied - others are rewarded. You’re only limited by imagination.
What do you crave more of?
Financial domination. I find it very sexy and extremely hot.
Tell me about your name.
It's pronounced "Sev-AIR-uh". The root is "severe" and it's Roman in origin.
Why do You capitalize "M", as in “Me or “My”?
It is traditional etiquette for a Dominatrix to refer to Herself with capitalized possessive pronouns and for slaves to obey that rule. Slaves are always lower case, for example, "slave e is Mine". It is considered poor form to write to Me in cap locks or to refer to Me as "u". First off, a slave should address Me as "Goddess" and then, "YOU" or "You". And speaking of which, if you’re going to contact Me, write a proper letter. Lazy writing and bad punctuation are red flags and a turn off.
What sort of fetish attire do you own?
I have an extensive wardrobe including pvc, rubber and custom leather outfits. I tend to have more leather than rubber. Everything you see Me wear in the Member Section is Mine and not borrowed for shoots. I also have an enormous selection of custom-made corsets, waist cinchers, bras, skirts, dresses, business attire, lingerie and stockings. Whether you're into a super hero, evil spy, girl next door, sexy school marm, belle of the ball or traditional leather-clad Dominatrix, I have the outfit.

I understand You have something You’d like to say about shoes?
Yes! I recently inherited about a thousand pairs of unused fetish shoes. If you are a cross-dresser, shoe or boot enthusiast, I have something for you. When Covid is over, of course, I can fulfill a shoe fetishist’s dream! This footwear is available for purchase or for playdates. Unfortunately, I have a very hard foot to fit (crazy high arches and very wide) and very few of the shoes fit Me. I have a variety of sizes ranging from tiny to size 14. I have way too many and would love keep them in the fetish community.

Where are you located and when You tour, where do you go?
I am based in San Diego and Los Angeles. Pre-Covid I regularly toured NYC and DC and occasionally Toronto, Miami and Chicago. Once in a while London and Frankfurt. Obviously, all travel is on hold until it’s safe to meet again in person.
Are you looking for new models to be in your shoots?
Yes, (post-Covid), if you are of legal age and experienced. Send Me head and body shots as well as your subbing resume. Let Me know who you have served, your physical stats, whether you are comfortable showing your face and appearing nude, where your interests and talents lie, your limits and if you have any acting experience. My models are not paid and are required to sign a model release as well as present two pieces of government issued photo ID such a passport and driver’s license. You will be photographed with those documents for My files and to comply with Section 2257 of the Criminal Code.
Do you have any hobbies unrelated to the kink scene?
Many! I’m never bored. Right now, I’m most interested in beading necklaces and gardening. Speaking of beads- they make excellent presents! I like natural stone, glass and African beads- things that have weight and feel good in the hand.
